Step By Step Light Assembly - Page 3

The light hanging assembly should hang straight as illustrated here. When putting the loops onto each clip make sure you put each one to the correct corner keeping them untangled as you do so.

You can slide the clips left or right to do any fine adjustments to the level of the light.

You can remove the clips for bulb replacement by using two fingers and some upward and rear pressure. You must first lift them off the lip of the lens before you can pull them off. You can use a screwdriver and carefully lift them as you remove them.

Please be careful not to break the clips with too much upward pressure (especially if you are using a screwdriver). They are quite strong so this is usually not a concern, except where undo force is used.

You will note that we have two copper fittings on the line cord. This is to keep the lines neat and will also serve as a height adjustment so you can shorten the cord by looping the cord over the hook at either of the two copper fitting points (as illustrated here).

Should you need to lengthen the line to bring the light closer to your plants, we have provided an "S" hook so you can add a chain or cord from the ceiling hook to the hanging system. If you need more of these or larger ones and chain they are readily available at any Home Supply or Depot store.
